Who gets to decide what enters history, what is documented, what is allowed to remain, and what is pushed into silence or erased? This question, and the unequal power embedded within archives, forms the starting point of the practice. The work focuses on histories that survive outside official records: through oral memory, coded language, family stories, landscapes, and fragments never intended to become evidence. Across film, painting, photography, installation, and writing, the practice considers how art can engage with what has been excluded or distorted without claiming that it can ever be fully recovered... more info
